Duties:
Research global and domestic competitive markets to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques. Collect and analyze data on client demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand.
Gather data on seasonal fashion trend interpretations for the development of appropriate color and pattern design. Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as fabric prices, manufacturing procedures, or arrange to obtain existing data. Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data. Attend staff conferences to provide management with information and proposals concerning the promotion, manufacturing, distribution, design, and pricing of company products.
